Description: This grant enabled the creation of the Learning Partnership for Creative Sustainability. A group of adult educators from Scotland, Germany and Austria met 6 times over the course of two years to exchange knowledge and develop new methods of working with youth and sustainability in innovative ways. The group also ran the Butterfly Effect Youth Camp and daylong workshops for local residents in Scotland, Germany and Austria.

Description:This grant partially funded the Butterfly Effect Youth Camp which took place in summer 2009. This camp brought together 30 young people between 18-25 years for 10 days of innovative education for sustainability using various nature-based methods including a 24 hour solo time in nature. Practical and participatory exercises were complemented by sessions which delivered information and strategies for action.

Although the grant has finished the group continues to meet and explore ways of developing their methodology and offering programmes Europewide.
