Decision Integrity:  Finding Resilient Solutions to Complex Problems
Planned for Autumn 2009

With Anthony Hodgson, research coordinator of the International Futures Forum and director of Decision Integrity Ltd.  This course will take a holistic and integrated approach to systems thinking and apply it to many of the most pressing questions regarding the sustainability transition.

As well as exploring the creation of sustainable and resilient systems for an integrative perspective, the course will equip participants with a wide variety of useful tools of transdisciplinary integration and complex decision-making.

Natural Design: Sustainable Solutions Through Co-Creation with Nature
Planned for Spring/Summer 2009
With Prof. Seaton Baxter OBE, Director of the Centre for the Study of Natural Design, Terry Irvin (www.tirwin.net) and Dr. Daniel C. Wahl, Findhorn College.  This course will take a fresh look at how we think about design and explore the potential role of designers as facilitators of transdisciplinary integration and catalysts in the transition towards a culture of sustainability.  Particular attention will be paid to how designers can learn from natural processes, forms and patterns and create more sustainable solutions through co-creation with Nature.
Soil, Soul, and Society: The Thee Pillars of a Culture of Sustainability
Planned for Autumn 2009
Since late 2007, Satish Kumar, educator, editor of Resurgence Magazine, and co-founder of Schumacher College, has taken on the role of patron of the Findhorn College. He has been a Findhorn Fellow and regular visitor to the Findhorn community for many years.

We are currently exploring the possibility of inviting Satish back up to Findhorn for a series of public talks and a three day workshop during which he will share his unique blend of ecology, spirituality and social activism.
