| Satish Kumar and Daniel Wahl
A Journey through Inner and Outer Landscapes
 |
A five-day course with Satish Kumar and Daniel Wahl
28 June - 2 July 2010
The Park, Findhorn, Moray
|
In dialogues with Satish, in times of quiet reflection and through participation in community life this programme will offer an opportunity to slow down, deepen and revitalise what has heart and meaning.
Satish is well respected internationally for the eloquence with which he expresses coherent views on reverential ecology, holistic education, economics as if people mattered and the joys of voluntary simplicity. His gentle wisdom and humour remind us that the transition towards a sustainable and resilient culture will require us to pay attention to the deeper meaning and hidden connections between soil, soul and society.

Satish Kumar undertook a peace pilgrimage at a young age, walking from India throughout Eur-Asia and America without any money to deliver packets of peace tea to leaders of the four nuclear powers. Deeply inspired by EF Schumacher’s “buddhist economics” he has edited Resurgence magazine for over 30 years, is one of the founders of the Small School and Schumacher College and is a patron of Findhorn College.
